Dry Brook (Lower) Falls. Cheshire, MA

Both upper and lower Dry Brook waterfalls are within a private sanctuary with the owner allowing visitation. They are basically road side falls, yet driving past them is easy due to the recess of Dry Brook away from the road and natural coverage from evergreens and beech trees. Hence, these obscure falls are a treat to discover and enjoy. Parking will be your main consideration as to not block the neighborhood residents drives or become an obstacle to the flow of local traffic on this narrow dirt road. In addition, there are several neighborhood dogs and when awaken will challenge your presence with on going barking. I'd suggest driving past and ID'ing the location, then parking your vehical lower on the road and walking up and into the falls keeping a lower profile to the K-9 welcoming committee.
