These photographs were taken by John Arkell's father who served during World War I with the British Royal Air Force. Their 80 years of preservation provides us with a glimpse of the early aircraft and ground crew forces in France during 1917. They are provided by Mark Godfrey of "Down Memory Lane Photographs" who is a avid photographer and historian on aircraft. For additional information or copies: mago@mega.net.au
