Sandwash Reservoir Fountain October State Forest Washington, MA (382K)
						While not a waterfall, Jan and I thought we would include this novel location in October State Forest. While I had "explored" the the area around the Sandwash Reservoir in the early 1970's, I never noticed if this fountain was operational until I noticed it in the mid 1990's. It presently operates year around and I assume it could have been constructed by the likes of the CCC or the Civil Construction Corps in the 1930's as a air-ration devise in conjuction with the aquduct that connects the Sandwash Reservoir to the Farnham Reservoir a couple of miles away.
