Spruce Brook Falls. Nagatuck State Forest. Beacon Falls. CT
					These series of small cascades, falls and pools are located in a beautiful ravine and provides a shadowy and cool location on a hot summer day.
	The ravine located in Naugatuck State Forest is easily accessed from Waterbury, south onRt-8 to exit 24 in Bellows Falls. At the end of the exit ramp turn right, your next right is Depot Street, cross the bridge over the Nangatuck River. Immediately after you cross, turn right onto Lopus Road and shortly after right onto Cold Spring Road. From here your 1.3 miles from your destination. Continue on, you’ll enter into Nagatuck State Forest, Cold Spring Road becomes a narrow unimproved road and you’ll be next to the railroad tracks. You’ll encounter a fork, bear right, stay next to the railroad tracks, over a small bridge and the stream which the falls are located, on your left is the parking area. The trail beginsacross the stream near the last small bridge you crossed. Allow 30 minutes round trip.
