Directions Travel west .75 of a mile on Rt-302 from the Mt Washington Hotel in Bretten Woods. In area known as Fabyan’s, turn right onto the Base Road that leads to the Mt Washington Cog Railway. Follow the Base Road for 2.25 miles, on your right, without much fanfare the falls can be found. Other cars during the summer will be parked here, a small bridge does cross the Ammonoosuc River above the falls and is access to hiking or x-country skiing on trails of the Mt Washington Hotel .				GPS Coordinates 44° 15’ 58”N 71° 24’ 59” W Elevation 1795 ft. above sea level Access Road side access. Not posted, swimming not "Authorized " but is popular swim hole. No life gaurd present. Injuries from rock jumping and drowning have occurred here.
