Trail access is from the AMC’s Pinkham Notch complex located on Rt-16, approimately 10 miles noth of Jackson. A large information center with full facilities including showers is located here for the many hikers ascending the highest peaks found here. Arrive early to ensure convenient parking. Behind the information center follow the Tuckerman’s Ravine trail for . 3 of a mile. The trail’s slight incline next to the Culter and Ellis River makes this a pleasant and easy walk. When you cross a wooden bridge, the falls overlook is located less than 100 yards up a steeper section on your right. Allow 45 minutes round trip.
