Located in Crawford Notch State Park off of RT-302 just 1.7 of a mile west of the state run Dry River Campground. On your left a small sign for Ripley’s Falls ID’s the road. A small parking area for several cars is located at the end of the road with overflow parking along its sides.. The trail head starts from the upper parking area and shortly crosses the Conway Scenic Railway tracks, trains do utilize the tracks especially during summer. From here the falls are approximately . 5 of a mile up a moderate trail, continue to bear left and follow the Avalanche Brook. Allow 1.5 hour round trip.
