During
WWII in the South Pacific the heroic actions of the U.S. Marines
are recognized in such locals such a Gradualcanal, Iwo Jima,
Okinawa and other lesser known places in their island hopping
stratgery. Along with Floyd's personal images are some photographs
taken by USMC Combat Photographers which reflect the hardship,
devastation, loss and uncertainty found in all combat operations.
