Merle Deslaurier *** U.S. Army *** Korea 1950-1952

 

Merle was one of the "Frozen Choose" serving in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952 with the 45th "Thunderbird Division" an Oklahoma National Guard Outfit located around Choworon. His duties varied from, motor mechanic, ammo driver and jeep litter driver attached to the 180th Medical Hospital.
